Application fee:

The application fee for Wharton’s MBA program is $275 and non-refundable. It can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), with your application.

Two Essays:

Essay 1: Outline your strategy for leveraging the Wharton MBA program to attain your future career objectives, taking into account your prior experiences, short and long-term aspirations, and the resources accessible at Wharton.

Essay 2: Describe your intentions for making significant and tailored contributions to the Wharton community, considering your personal, professional, and academic background. Please note: First -time applicants are required to write Essay 1 and 2

Transcripts:

To apply for the MBA program, you must provide transcripts of all academic coursework completed at the undergraduate level and beyond, regardless of credit or degree status. You have two options for submitting your transcripts:

  • Upload unofficial transcripts.
  • Self-report your grades using our Online Transcript Template.

Two letters of recommendation:

We ask for two letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your performance in a professional setting, preferably from a current or former supervisor.

  • The title or position of the recommender is less important than their ability to provide insightful and specific comments about you. Please choose recommenders who can offer direct insights into your skills and abilities.
  • All recommendations must be submitted electronically. Once you have reached out to your recommenders, please fill out the form on the Recommendations page.

If you need to make changes to your selection of recommenders, you can do so even if a recommender has not yet started their recommendation.

You can delete them and assign a new recommender.

Please note that while your new recommender won’t appear on the recommendation page of your application, we will see the updated listing when you submit your application.

GRE or GMAT score:

As an institution, we welcome scores from tests taken either at a designated test center or remotely from home.

It’s important to note that all at-home tests are closely monitored by a human proctor online to ensure integrity and fairness.

Additionally, applicants have the option to self-report their scores.

When providing your scores within the application, kindly list your highest score as the primary one.

This helps us better understand your academic achievements and capabilities.

The GMAT code for the Wharton MBA Program is G56-97-73.  The GRE code is: 6802.

English proficiency test score:

Applicants from non-native English speaking country will be required to submit ether IELTS, PTE or TOEFL

Resume:

Please upload a concise one-page resume focusing on your functional job skills, depth of experience, leadership abilities, and potential for growth.

We value what you have learned in your roles more than the duration of your tenure. Ensure the scanned documento highlights pertinent information only, excluding pictures, graphics, and unnecessary text.

Save the scanned document as a .pdf file, avoiding password protection or macros. Check that the file size does not exceed 10 MB.
