Kokoro Scholarship 2024
One Young World in collaboration with Kokoro Scholarship focuses on identifying and connecting young indigenous leaders from the United States and Canada who are spearheading effective and innovative mental health solutions within their communities.
Kokoro Scholarship 2024 Benefits
Below are the benefits recipients are accessible to when they are accepted into this program:
Accepted applicants are allowed to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada (18-21 September)
They are also given the privilege to attend the One Young World Indigenous Day on 17 September.
Accessible to furnished Hotel accommodation in Montréal between 16 and 21 (inclusive) September.
Free Catering services for the full duration of the event.
Cost coverage for the recipient’s Return air travel.
Selected Candidates receive membership to the One Young World Ambassador Community.
Invitation to join Kokoro’s network of ‘Fellow Activators,’ acting as ambassadors for mental health initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements for Kokoro Scholarship 2024
To qualify for this scholarship applicant must fulfill the following:
Be actively engaged in a leadership role of an initiative/organization benefiting the mental health of Indigenous people.
He or she must be from age 18-30 years by the date of the One Young World Summit 2024.
Be resident in the USA or Canada.
Identify as members of an Indigenous community.
